Isn't it funny

Isn't it funny how people think of each other. I've been online for over 12 years now and the most common question still when I go into chat rooms or message boards is that age old acronym 'asl' (age/sex/location). I keep telling everyone what the hell does it matter. I'm never going to meet them. It doesn't matter if I'm a boy or girl; if I'm from Arkansas or Australia. It doesn't matter if I'm black, white, yellow, or a green little alien. It's the internet; it doesn't matter what I look like as long as I have ideas and have fun.

I sometimes go into Yahoo! Games playing Yahoo! Towers (it's a multiplayer tetris-like game), I am totally into it. I love playing in partners because it means I'm not the only one that sucks. Sometimes I'll find a high ranking player so maybe I can win, but it's not always the case especially if their score is like 5000 and mine's still at 1000. So mostly I'll just partner with some average player and it's great, if I'm totally into the game I don't care that I suck because I'm having fun which it great with me; and in between rounds I'll can have quick conversations till the next round. Most in between conversations is like:
"Hey, u come here often?"
"yeah i luv dis game."
"really?"
"Oh, next game starting"
Some people will come in and ask for photos. Where I live or some crap like that. I tell them view my profile everything that I want you to know about me is there. Hey, you can view my profile, too. Yeah, I know it's a picture of my dog, but he's so pretty I love showing him off.

Anyways, while playing Yahoo Towers, I partnered up with someone with an average score, and we were getting are ass kicked. But hey I was enjoying the time playing. (Hey, even if I get my ass kicked in a game, if I'm having fun it doesn't matter). In one of the rounds we were chatting with my partner, telling them I sucked and everything; when this rude person comes in starts calling my partner names and basically saying a bunch of racist things about the person I was partnered with. This pisses me off and about . . . well everyone in the room. We all decided if this person is going to play we'll just force him to lose every round, and it was working. Well, until my partner had to leave for work. We of course kept slamming the person that first made the remarks. (Hey, we were venting our anger in a non-violent way.) After my partner left, they messaged me and thanked me for sticking up for them; which I thought was a little weird. But I just thought the dude was a jerk for making some accusations that he had no right to make. And it made me realize more it doesn't matter what you look like on the internet; Because you can be a 13 year old Korean girl and still kick the butt of a 52 year old white boy in chess. You can also have the best idea come from someone you would normally hate if you met them. So it doesn't matter what we look like. It doesn't matter if our ideas are dumb sounding out loud, because they might be genius online. Just as long as you have fun, you will probably learn a little more about yourself if you stop asking who everyone else is, and just voice your ideas on message boards, chat rooms, and websites.

Well, that's my opinion anyways; so criticize me if you must; but it won't really change how I feel. :)

To eat or not to eat that is the Real Question. . .

Hey there,

I know it's been awhile but I've been visting friends in New Mexico. Well, while visiting in Albereque we ate at possibly the worst restarant. The food was dry like it was sitting out all day, the service was practically non-exstient, the toy prize that came in the kids meal was awful, and to top it off it the food was way to expensive.

Let me start from the beginning or at least about an hour before we went to the resturant from hell. I was in the back, we were all trying to decide where to go. I'm not that picky so me and the husband decided to let the wife decide.

MISTAKE #1: Never let the wife decide all she will say anything is fine or will just piss off the rest of the car.
MISTAKE #2: If your a husband never make your own decision about the resturant, this will lead to headaches.
MISTAKE #3: If you have kids and you argue in front of them they will make the arguement worse.

Anyways about an hour of driving we finally found a burger joint. The wife refused to eat and McDonalds and the husband refused to ask for direction. (I'm stuck in the middle cause I'm the guest because I don't want to get into the middle of it). We order, and I order a burger no pickles, LARGE fries, and medium Dr Pepper. the wife order burger NO onions or lettece, fries, and large Dr Pepper, husband orders burger, fries, and large Dr Pepper, and the wife order a kids meal for her little one year old. All total it was $20. It takes 15 minutes for them to make the order (the resturant was far from full). When we got the order it was all screwed up. The large fries are about the size of McDonalds small size fries. The burgers were nothing like we ordered. The toy broke into 15,000,000 million pieces (Great toy for a one year old). The kids meal constited of a stale rubberlike hot dog and fries, which is impossible for a one year old to eat, not even if the pieces are cut up into small bite size.

I get pissed off cause this is not the way to run a resturant. So I ask the lady that took our order if they had some comment/suggestion cards so at least I could list everything that was wrong with the resturant. They didn't so I lay into them. slammed the broke toy onto the counter; told the lady "if I wanted crappy food and service like this I would have gone to McDonalds" hell, at least it would have been cheaper.

So if you work at this resturant and are reading this "GO TO HELL!" cause I will never eat there again and I will tell everyone the same.

What the Heck is a CD modem? ? ?

Oh my goodness!!! Holy Crap! I'm not a tech support person but a lot of my friends look to me to solve all their computer problems. I get this one call from a friend, she says she can't get her computer to reconize the modem. She lives over 600 miles away so it's not like I'm going to walk over to her house to see what the hell she is doing. Anyways, I try and walk her through installing the drivers so she can connect to her online buddies. (Aw man! that's another story for another time.) I ask her did your modem some with a CD or floppy. She said "Yeah it came with a CD" I tell her to put the CD in her CD drive of her computer. She tells me my computer doesn't have a CD drive, but my modem does. I'm like WHAT??? no way a modem does not have a CD drive. I tell her that's not your modem that's your computer. And she's agruing that's it's her modem. So I ask her, what kind of computer is it. she tell me a Compaq, I tell her again. Compaq never made a computer with a modem CD drive. (no did any other manfacturer) Anyways the conversation goes on like this for about three hours. I finally tell her, that where ever she bought the computer from take it back and tell THEM to install the modem for her.

I have a great laugh about it today. but holy crap during those three hours I was a pain trying to explain how to install her modem.

Next Week I'm making her a website. Wish me luck.

To Hack or Not to Hack? ? ?

I'm sure everyone that is interested in computers likes to know something about them; they want to know something more about them then the average newbie. Or if you have a complete fear of computers to 'not even put their credit card' on the Internet (Ryan Stiles -- in TechTV interview) all you care is that they work and that's it. I am not a technophobe, I love computers I love them because they make my life easier. Althrough I don't know how my life could be any simplier than it is right now. Heheh. :)

I'm wouldn't say I'm the best hacker, but I do like to see how something works. Looking at source codes for html and javascript seeing how everything is put to together. I even dabble in some PC hardware mods, not that I'm any good at it, but I can put a PC together from scratch and that's more than most can do. :)

I suppose I could hack into a website if I wanted to; but I really don't want to. I much rather study how pages are created the different types of JavaScript. Maybe I'll get into Flash, who knows.

Uh oh I'm being hacked...
*computer freezes*
*fantically pushes reset button*
*waits for boot up*
hurry up
*runs Norton Anti-Virus*
"What!?!?! Expiration Virus pay $29.95!!!"
*watches virus format harddrive*
*reformats harddrive*
*reinstalls Win98*
*dials ISP and updated Internet Explorer again*
*finds IP address of the one that hacked me*
*runs IP through database*
*finds hacker address*
*gets in car with baseball bat*
*goes beats the living crap out of 10 year old kid who hacked me*
See ya in 10 to 15 .... :)

To Show or Not to Show. . .

Hey, it's Sunday and my page is still okay. Just proves that small pages don't matter. I heard about the big Hack-a-thon that was suppose to happen. Yeah, my page probably is easy to break into; but who would want to. It'll be like stealing $100 from Bill Gates is anyone going to really care? And is anyone really going to miss it. I know my site isn't that much, but I do like showing it off for friends. I'm weird that way.

I have decided to put my picture on my site, but I'm letting everyone figure out which one is me. I chose six pictures two obvious fake one that couldn't possibly be me, three pictures are of people that am related too, three pictures of people with glasses, three boys and three girls. I tried to mix them up so no one would see any pattern. Basically if you read my pages you would probably be able to figure it out. But many people know me from chat and I have to say. Those people are mostly wrong. but it's fun just to see how many people guess wrong. Plus I added a poll where they have to think of a few words about each person. I'm still confused by a few of the comments their, but it's fun still.
