The Karate Kid (remake)

Wow, um. . . I don't know who said it but there was an interview with jackie chan and jade smith and they said it was going to be totally different than the 80s film. errrr no it was not totally different. true you've got different actors and the location is different. But the two movies were almost exactly alike. it's still about a kid that is uprooted from his hometown and moved to a different location where he meets "a girl" and the local bullies beat him up, until the local maintaince man saves him and teaches to defend himself for a tornament to which he must win. Both movies are very well done, but if you seen one you seen the other.
